Wisteria Sunset is a red-orange sangria with roses and tangerines finished with a white-blue floral tea. This Gori-Gesha variety is one of three varieties grown at Gesha Village, in the Shewa-Jibabu block at a minimum of 1973masl (~9°N). Gori-Gesha is a variety that best resembles the flavor characteristics of the coffees found in the Gesha Forest in Ethiopia. This coffee has been fermented for 80 hours, whole cherry in an anoxic sealed plastic tank with the addition of mossto. The coffee is dried for 28 days in raised beds under the sun until it reaches 11% moisture content.Gesha Village is not just a leader in the specialty coffee industry for its amazing coffee flavor profiles it produces, but also in it's commitment to social and environmental goals.  In 2021 Gesha Village High school was inaugurated. This is the first high school in that area and an incredibly important investment in the local community. The first phase is complete and includes administration buildings as well as classrooms for 9th-11th graders. Phase 2 is coming up and includes the construction of a library and science rooms.  The farms also practice revitilazation of native terroir to grow alongside farm coffee trees,water recirculation and extensive natural treatment of wastewater, composting of over 300 tons of compost per annum, and an apiculture program to promote bees and honey production.
